Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist to join our expanding practice at a Level 2 facility located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. This opportunity promises a collaborative environment where you will be a part of a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality, family-centered healthcare for newborns.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care in a 6-bed Level II special care nursery with 24-hour shifts.
- Participate in block scheduling with a flexible out-of-house call schedule.
- Work closely with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists for comprehensive coverage.
- Access sub-specialty support as needed.
- Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and clinical research projects.
- Exchange best practices and ideas with a network of thousands of Pediatrix providers across over 400 NICUs.
- This position is open to commuters.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine REQUIRED
- Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain REQUIRED
- Copy of the most recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active) REQUIRED
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start) REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
