Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Patient services include diagnostic ultrasounds of inpatient high-risk pregnancies under the care of Maternal Fetal Medicine providers.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital based training program, or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year of OB ultrasound experience required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
ARDMS Registered.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Nuchal Translucency certification within one year of onboarding required.
Commitment to attaining Fetal Echo Credential within three years of onboarding required.
BLS certification required.
