Job Details:
• Work day/evening shifts with 4, 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours total)
• Shift times: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Take call responsibilities as assigned
• Required certifications: ARRT certification, Washington State radiologic technologist certification (registered in X-Ray), BLS certification
• Required experience: Shimadzu portable, Rad Speed Pro, GE/OEC C-arms with OR experience, EPIC experience
• Prepare for and perform all examinations while operating assigned equipment safely
• Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality
• Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective scanner utilization
• Maintain scanner cleanliness and associated equipment per infection control policies
• Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision
• Follow universal blood and body substance precautions and PPE requirements
• Complete continuing education requirements as mandated by regulatory entities
• Utilize EMR system efficiently and complete required documentation for each examination
• Safely lift and transfer patients using ergonomic techniques and assistive devices
• Communicate with patients' family members or caregivers when necessary
