Anesthesiology Physicians provide anesthesia care primarily in operating rooms, managing patient sedation and pain control across multiple surgical specialties. The role involves daily or weekly rotations, including potential night and weekend shifts focused on obstetrics and emergent cases. Collaboration is typically required with other anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists in a hospital setting with a high volume of diverse surgical cases.
Proficiency in regional anesthesia and/or pediatrics is preferred.
Need: 2-3 anesthesiologists daily (depending on the week)Preferred if provider would be open to taking some type of call
Rotation can be daily, weekly, or a provider can work day & night (provider preference)No electives scheduled after 5:00p, nights and weekends are OB & emergent only
Staffed with 2 Anesthesiologist and 6-7 CRNA s
Operating Room has approximately 600 cases per month (27 per day split between 2 Anesthesiologists)35% General Surgery, 25% Gastroenterology, 25% Orthopedics/Podiatry, 15% Gynecology/Obstetrics Blocks: 400 OB (250 Epidural 150 Spinal), 300 Ortho (150 spinal, 150 other)
