Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts in the Cardiovascular ICU
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 3-12 hour shifts
• Must have minimum 2 years CVU experience and current nursing license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for all ICU shifts, 2:1 for all Tele shifts
• Must have experience with hemodynamics and ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Cardiac assistive machine experience preferred
• Must float within cardiac units as needed
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts in 6-week period, every other weekend
• Care for cardio-thoracic surgery patients, open heart patients, TAVR, post cath lab, and post cardiac surgery patients with telemetry
• Required to work holidays as necessary
• Must be trained in Post Op procedures
• Navy scrubs required
• Free parking provided
• No local candidates within 75-mile radius accepted
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• Travel experience required

This acute care hospital operates 233 staffed beds and specializes in comprehensive cardiovascular care. The facility features a 6-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit that provides advanced cardiac care including post-operative cardiac surgery patients, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex cardiac interventions. The hospital maintains modern equipment and technology to support critical cardiac care and utilizes EPIC charting systems throughout the organization.
