Perm - Physician - Nocturnist
Location: Pueblo, CO (400 West 16th Street, Pueblo, CO 81003)

UCHealth Parkview, in collaboration with our Hospital Medicine group, is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Nocturnist to join our full-time team at Parkview Medical Center. This opportunity is ideal for board-eligible or board-certified physicians committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Position Overview:

• Full-time nocturnist position with a schedule of six nights on, nine nights off, totaling approximately 144 twelve-hour shifts annually. Opportunities for additional shifts are available for physicians seeking to increase their hours.
• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care at Parkview Medical Center, a 370-bed facility.
• Night physicians collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs) supporting patient care across multiple units.
• Support a closed ICU managed by Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship-trained physicians, ensuring a focused critical care environment.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for seamless charting and documentation.
• Work within a physician-led medical group comprising nearly 1,600 providers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert inpatient medical care to diverse patient populations during nighttime hours.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Support APPs and participate in daily patient management, including effective handoffs.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing advancement of hospital medicine practices.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active medical license in Colorado or eligible for licensure.
• Interest in permanent placement; candidate must not be seeking locum tenens arrangements.
• Candidates requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive annual salary range of $252,000 to $280,000, commensurate with experience.
