RRT Years of experience REQ: 1- preferably 1 year exp with critical care/emergency situations First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes- with 2 years previous experience in respiratory Weekend REQ: Yes, weekend rotation Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, CPFT, CRT or RRT, State license Skills REQ: Emergency Department, Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning, Aspiration, COVID, Pneumonia, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Mucomyst, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered dose inhaler, Cold, Hand held, Heated, T-piece, Trach collar, Bag and mask, ET Tube, , High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Portable Oxygen tank, BiPAP, CPAP, IMV (intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Patient Transport (inter-departmental and ambulance transport), SIMV (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, ABG interpretation, Chest Physiotherapy, Drawing arterial blood gases Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? N/A Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, within service line Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) No Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? No, home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility Pending License accepted: (Y/N) No Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned. Special Requirements: COPD/asthma exacerbations, swing bed patients with home PAPs, PNA with complications, emergency patients for various ailments, occasional pediatric/infant patients via ED, etc. Peds exp is preferred. intubations, Vent management, NIPPV, HFOT, ABGs, conscious sedations, airway management, nocturnal oxygen studies, exercises oxygen studies, etc. Drager Vent, V60 BiPAP, EV300 Vent/PAP, Volara, Auto CPAP, AirVo, Nellcor CPOX, etc. - need vent exp, not necessary for our specific vents.
