American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least one year of recent home health experience and required proficiency in OASIS and HCHB for a day shift home health assignment.
Responsibilities- Home health setting with a focus on geriatric patients
- Typical caseload of 5-7 patients per day, to be confirmed during interview
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Service area covers up to a 60-mile radius from the office
- No call required
- Charting completed using HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR; experience required
- iPad provided for documentation
- Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- Dress code requires scrubs of any color; jeans are not permitted
- All charting must be completed by 9:00 am the following morning
- Job duties include delivering OT services in home environments and meeting weekly productivity expectations
- Applicants must not be first-time travelers
- Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the travel rate
- Requested time off must be submitted with application
- Travel pairs are accepted but each therapist will be assigned a separate territory and must have their own transportation
- Former perm employees must be separated for at least 6 months and require HR approval to return as travelers
- Active Occupational Therapist license required for consideration
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health OT experience required
- OASIS experience required
- Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
- Current BLS certification required
- Active driver's license and personal transportation required
- Must be flexible with territory assignments
- Timely documentation and communication are mandatory
- Completion of Hospice/Home Health Checklist required
- License required if applicable
