POSITION SUMMARY

Performs a wide variety of patient care activities in regards to breastfeeding and human lactation and accommodation services for assigned hospital unit and patients as directed in relationship to designated position.

Our purpose in the Women’s Center is to promote a philosophy of maternal and infant care which advocates breastfeeding and supports the normal physiological functions involved in this maternal-infant process. Our goal is to assure that all families who elect to breastfeed their infants will have a successful and satisfying experience.
