Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for night shifts, requiring a PA or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg and Med/Surg/Tele units across several hospital floors
• Patient population includes general medical-surgical and telemetry cases
• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• No local travelers within a 50-mile radius are eligible
• Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Team-based environment with support from experienced nursing staff
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Required to submit a driver’s license for consideration
• US Social Security Number required for application
• Returning employees must meet all eligibility conditions

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in the Med/Surg specialty
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must not have been employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
