Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility solutions, is seeking a Fleet Response Operator to join their team. As a Fleet Response Operator, you will be part of the Operations Support team supporting vehicle recovery, customer assistance, and fleet maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Part-Time Autonomous Vehicle Operator
Location:San Francisco, CA
Pay Range: 33.15
Schedule: Sun - Thur 7:15am-4pm
What's the Job?
- Respond to vehicle recovery and repositioning of Zoox vehicles
- Act as Scene Commander during extractions, coordinating with Mission Control, documenting incidents, and supporting vehicle loading
- Operate Zoox robotaxis using remote input devices (Rovebot) as needed
- Assist riders during recovery events, ensuring safe entry/exit from vehicles
- Perform basic cleaning and charge confirmation to ensure vehicle readiness
What's Needed?
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license for at least three consecutive years with an acceptable driving record
- Must comply with the Controlled Substance and Alcohol Testing Program adopted by Zoox
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate in high-stress, fast-paced environments
- Comfortable using radios, mobile apps, and computer-based tools
