American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Night Shift Emergency Department position requiring a compact or OH RN license and EPIC EMR experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital with an oncology pod
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:30
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Patient ratio is 1:4
- Floating to other units is required
- Care for both oncology and emergency patient populations
- Uses EPIC EMR with prior experience required
- Involves telemetry monitoring and IV starts
- Submission of all requested time off must be made at the time of application
- Up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted at facility discretion for the contract duration
- Team environment with opportunity to work with both oncology and emergency care specialists
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required according to unit needs
- Must provide two recent professional references from a supervisor
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Current BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with IV starts and telemetry monitoring required
- Prior EPIC EMR experience required
- Oncology experience is preferred but not required
