Job Title: RN – OR Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with strong robotics experience to support a high-acuity surgical environment. Candidate must be able to function independently across multiple specialties with both scrub and circulate capabilities.

Shift & Schedule Requirements

• Shift: Day 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:30)

• Weekends:3–4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (may be day, evening, or night)

• Holidays: Per department needs (may be day, evening, or night)

• Call:2–3 call shifts within a 6-week matrix

  • 30-minute call-back response required

• Floating: N/A

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years recent OR experience

• Trauma Experience:

  • Level I Trauma experience required

  • Must have at least Level II trauma experience (>1 year)

• Previous Travel Experience: Required

• Charting: Epic experience heavily preferred

Unit & Clinical Requirements

• RNs preferred to both scrub and circulate

• Must be fully proficient and independent with DaVinci Xi robot (no refresher training required)

• Bonus: Familiarity with DaVinci DV5 robot

• Only robots used: DaVinci Xi and DV5

  • Experience with other robotic platforms (ortho/neuro) not applicable

Must function independently in the following specialties:

• Robotics

• Orthopedics

• General Surgery

• GYN

• Urology

• Bariatrics

• ENT

• Plastics

• Vascular

• Thoracic (excluding cardiac/open heart)

• Trauma

Pre-Screen & Interview Process

• Pre-Screen Unit:

  • Candidate reviewed by clinical team to determine clinical fit

  • If clinically approved and within WellSpan guidelines, profile forwarded to hiring manager

  • Clinical screens conducted on a case-by-case basis

• Interview: Manager interview

Additional Information

• May care for COVID-positive patients

• Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility – traveler must be notified prior to submission

• RTO: Maximum 7 days
