Inpatient Responsibilities: Rounding on post-op patients, inpatient/ED consults, OR

Number of Physicians: 4
Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 7
Supervision of APP expected
Physician Nurse Ratio: 1 nurse/provider, 3 cast techs/7 providers
Ancillary Staff per Provider: 3 Reception/7 providers, 2 Surgery Schedulers/7 providers
Exam Rooms per Provider: 2 exam rooms + 3 cast rooms
Medical Imaging: Yes
Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 160 pts/day
Appointment Length: min depending on consult, recheck, post-op, or procedure
Demographics: Hub Hospital serving 16 surrounding counties, population 200,000+
EMR: Clinic GE Centricity, Hospital Epic (switch to Epic in December)
