Seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join a physician-owned private practice at a level 1 trauma center in Hartford, CT. The role involves providing a wide range of interventional radiology services including oncology, vascular interventions, pain management, and complex procedures, with strong collaboration across multiple medical specialties. 80 to 100% Interventional Radiology in Hartford, CT!
- Physician-owned and operated private practice radiology group providing comprehensive subspecialty radiology services at a level 1 trauma center. Due to substantial growth in volume and breadth of services, the IR division seeks another talented full-time interventional radiologist to join the team. Currently there is one full-time IR physician (more than 12 years experience) and two full-time physician assistants.
- The division offers a full gamut of IR services including interventional oncology, hepatobiliary including endoscopy, DVT and PE interventions, complex IVC filter retrieval, complex deep venous revascularization, pain management including cryoneurolysis, biopsies and drainages, venous access, and complex embolotherapy. Near-term growth areas are anticipated in complex PAD interventions for CLTI and spine interventions including spine ablation.
- The IR service is a consultative service in the hospital with admitting privileges. IR has excellent collaborative relationships with multiple on-site specialists including Hem/Onc, Surgical Oncology, Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, Pulmonology/Critical Care, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, OB/Gyn including Gyn/Onc and Urogynecology, Palliative Care, and Orthopedic Surgery. There are robust multidisciplinary cancer programs with subspecialized tumor boards. There are ample teaching opportunities with radiology residents.
Salary offer is $500k+ depending on experience with additional compensation for IR-only call (Q4 call). Time for call in addition to 8 weeks of PTO.
