Job Details:

• Work 13-week assignment with 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed per unit
• Regular floating required between departments, units and facilities as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS preferred
• Must have Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact license
• 12 hours of orientation required
• Epic charting system experience
• Care for adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses including stroke, heart failure, respiratory failure, pneumonia, post-surgical patients, renal failure, and cardiac conditions
• Skills include cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, wound care, and use of rapid response teams
• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
• 3 guaranteed shifts per 13-week contract
• Local candidates within 75-mile radius not accepted
