Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse House Supervisor for a night-shift contract assignment. In this leadership role, you will oversee hospital operations during overnight hours, provide clinical and administrative support, and ensure safe, efficient patient care delivery. The House Supervisor will float to Emergency, ICU, and Med/Surg units to provide coverage for meal breaks and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise hospital operations and staffing during night shifts.
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership across multiple units.
- Float to Emergency Department, ICU, and Med/Surg units to cover meal breaks as needed.
- Serve as a resource for clinical decision-making and problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Respond to emergencies and support patient flow and staffing adjustments.
- Active and current California RN license.
- Minimum of 4 years of acute care nursing experience required.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (NRP preferred).
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience in an acute care setting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities overnight.
- Proof of negative TB screening within the past 12 months (required).
