Job DescriptionThe Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring, including those recovering from medical and surgical procedures. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality patient management and safety.
Responsibilities- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry data.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
- Carry out assessments and document patient progress accurately.
- Engage in patient and family education regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 5 years of nursing experience required.
- A minimum of 1 year of prior travel nursing experience.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience with electronic health record systems, preferably EPIC.
