About the Facility:
• Adult Only
• 36 bed Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Specialty support includes Neurosurgery, Neurology, Trauma/Critical Care, Medical and Surgical Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, Interventional Pain, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Nephrology
Responsibilities Include:
• Attend Team Conferences Covering o Regulatory clinical team to ensure compliance and pharmaceutical aspects
regarding medications, patient safety, and quality of care. o Medical executive committee collaboration. o Review of KPI s & Discharges • The Physician will have a clinical focus on general physical medicine and rehabilitation
• Assessment and management of patients with long term functional limitations; development of a plan of care in consultation with other specialists
• The ideal candidate must be proficient managing medically complex patients and comfortable taking care of a variety of rehab-related diagnoses on the unit.
• Perform medical procedures, such as disc decompression, prolotherapy, and vertebroplasty to treat pain and improve physical functioning
• Lead a team of medical professionals, which may include physical therapists as well as occupational therapists, with the goal of optimizing patient care
• Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Provide tools and guidance that allow that patient to adapt and improve overall health physical functioning
• Counsel patients as well as their families
• Additional procedural opportunities may include botulinum toxin injections, baclofen pump management and EMG s. Outpatient Clinic Available for EMG s and Botox

New State-Of-The-Art Facility
Join a Premier rehabilitative healthcare provider, in a new 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital on Coastal Wisconsin. The new hospital provides specialized rehabilitative care to patients recovering from disabling injuries or illnesses such as strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson s disease, multiple sclerosis, or other medically complex conditions.
Located halfway between Green Bay and Milwaukee, the hospital will treat more than 650 patients annually. Patients who are treated at the hospital will interact and set individual goals with an interdisciplinary team that includes a physician; rehabilitation nurses; physical, occupational, and speech therapists; case managers; respiratory therapists; dietitians; and other healthcare professionals. The new, state-of-the-art, 45,000-square-foot building will feature all private rooms, a rehabilitative gym with specialized equipment and one-on-one therapy, a dining room with a dedicated chef and food service staff, and an activity of daily living space to allow patients to receive therapy in rooms that emulate home conditions.
