Position Details: Profession: Physician Specialty: Cardiology - Non-Invasive Location: Near Eugene, OR Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Rate Type: Holiday Shift Type: Days Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, plus shared on-call duties Job Description: Responsibilities: Provide cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform evaluations and management services, including interpretation of EKG, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, stress Echocardiography, and Holter/event monitor. Review and sign individual treatment plans for cardiac rehab patients. Perform and interpret Cardioversion and Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE). Collaborate with other medical specialties to meet established standards and practices of care. Examine, diagnose, and provide treatments for a broad range of cardiac diseases. Use appropriate risk calculators and stay updated with new studies, technology, and medications. Administer prescribed medications in compliance with state laws and practice guidelines. Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and health prevention. Maintain patient records, charts, and other pertinent information, documenting clearly and concisely. Triages patient telephone calls and provides consultations as needed. Participate in physician meetings and assist in policy formation. Keep all licenses and certifications current and unrestricted. Call Schedule: Shared Echo call rotation, including reading on weekends.
