Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN – Circulator) for a short-term contract assignment in an outpatient surgical setting. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled perioperative nurse who can function independently across multiple surgical service lines while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Contract Details- Assignment Length: 8-week contract
- Schedule: Weekdays only
- Shift Times: Variable start and stop times
- Holiday Coverage: Not required
- Number of Openings: 2
- Serve as the circulating nurse for surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and functioning
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with perioperative standards and safety protocols
- Perform accurate patient identification, surgical site verification, and time-outs
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure efficient case flow
- Document perioperative care accurately and timely
- Advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process

- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) – preferred
