Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Surgical Services Nurse with a strong background in surgical procedures and patient care. This position requires the ability to handle a variety of surgical cases and maintain high standards of care.
Responsibilities- Manage and assist in surgical procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions pre- and post-operation.
- Ensure patient safety and implement infection control protocols.
- Administer medical treatments and medication as needed.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and provide support during operations.
- Participate in patient education and advocacy.
- Minimum of 2 years of Charge Nurse experience.
- Preferred experience in Community Hospitals and Trauma Level I & II.
- Certification in BLS and CNOR required.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Must have an active MD or Compact License at the time of submission.
- References from recent employers: 1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN.
