A Hospitalist Physician working primarily as a Nocturnist on a 7 on / 7 off schedule, focusing on patient admissions, rounding, and cross coverage in a closed ICU setting without performing procedures. Duties include managing patient flow from ICU to general wards, collaborating with intensivists, and providing comprehensive overnight care. This role supports a leading healthcare provider serving a large regional population in Southwest Georgia.
- Seeking Nocturnist for 7 on / 7 off.
- There are 3 Nocturnists on at night. One focuses on admissions but divides them up I think the average is 8-9 admissions, one carries the code pager. Closed ICU. They do receive patients from the ICU when they are sent back to the floor but they are signed over to Intensivists when they are in the ICU.
- No procedures.
- Rounding and cross coverage is shared among the three nocturnists.
