Position Summary
- The CT Tech. performs all technical, diagnostic and therapeutic services offered by the Computerized Tomography Department of Imaging Services.
- Performs other duties as assigned to ensure a smooth operation of the department.
Qualifications

- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists.
- Must be certified by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association as a Radiographer.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology as a CT Technologist, preferred
- Must have reached a level of expertise in Computerized Tomography scanning through formal and informal training to independently perform CT procedures and instruct other technologists in the performance of CT procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to perform a broad range of diagnostic Radiology is procedures required.
- Worker trait requirements include organization, decision-making and effective communication skills.
- Emergency work-load situations require the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work varying shifts and take call
- Must have current BLS certification
