A locum urology physician is needed to provide inpatient hospital-based coverage 5-10 days per month in Western Kentucky. Responsibilities include managing the call schedule on weekends, consulting, rounding on urology patients, and performing necessary procedures including advanced endoscopic techniques and ureteroscopy. The position requires board certification or eligibility, BLS/ACLS certification, and the ability to cover inpatient care in a facility equipped for robotic surgeries if needed.
Looking for locum Urology coverage for 5-10 days/month, on-going! Western Kentucky
The team is looking for someone to cover the call schedule for urology 2 3 weekends per month to provide relief to our employed physicians who covers the remainder of the time. This physician would be on call, take consults, round on any patients on urology service, and perform any necessary procedures/surgeries. The employed physician does not currently perform any procedures robotically but they do have 3 robots and are confident they could accommodate a urologist with that skillset, if needed.

- Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
- Dates of Coverage: 5 - 10 days per month
- No other urologists onsite during assignment
- Number of Urologists in Group: 1 MD provides inpatient support, 2 APRNs are ambulatory/clinic based only
- Labs & X-rays onsite

- Laser Certification
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible - REQUIRED
- KY License- Preferred, willing to accept providers needing to obtain license
- BLS/ACLS Certified - REQUIRED
- COVID Vaccination - Noted at time of name clear
