Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / MS-Telemetry
Location: Tucson, AZ
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekends: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / MS-Telemetry assignment in Tucson, Arizona. This unit functions as a step-down from ICU, requiring strong cardiac and critical-thinking skills to safely manage higher-acuity patients.
Clinical Focus:
Step-down level care from ICU
Management of cardiac drips
Familiarity with TAVRs, Watchman devices, and MitraClip procedures
MS/Telemetry patient population
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
Demonstrate clinical judgment, leadership, and critical thinking
Assist physicians with examinations and procedures
Administer medications and perform patient testing within RN scope of practice
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and self-care
Delegate and supervise patient care activities appropriately
Document care accurately in the EMR system
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of PCU / Telemetry RN experience
Active Arizona RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience with cardiac drips and step-down level acuity
EMR: Cerner
Education:
