The Department of Neurology at the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and academically-oriented Neuromuscular Neurologist to join our Neuromuscular Division. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care for patients with neuromuscular conditions.
- Conduct outpatient and inpatient evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Offer health counseling and participate in preventative medicine initiatives.
- Lead or participate in health seminars and consultative services.
- Teach and mentor medical students, neurology residents, and neuromuscular fellows.
- Engage in departmental service, academic activities, and collaborative research.
Minimum Requirements:
- M.D. or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida.
- Completion of a residency program in Neurology and fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine.
- Meets university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
- Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine.
- Experience in academic medicine, clinical research, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
