About the Position
AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Mammography Tech in Redwood City, California, 94062!
Join our travel team as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment at a hospital in Redwood City, CA. In this role, you will perform diagnostic and screening mammography exams, support breast imaging workflows including tomosynthesis when required, and collaborate with radiologists and multi-disciplinary teams to aid in diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current ARRT Mammography (M) certification required.
- Current ARRT Radiologic Technologist (R) certification required.
- Mammography technologist must be certified through the State of California as required by the facility.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience. Preferred: documentation of prior mammography volumes for the last 2 years.
- Experience with tomosynthesis preferred. Candidates must provide initial digital CE units and initial tomo CE units; 2 years of mammography and tomo CE units preferred.
- Experience using Cerner charting system preferred.
- Ability to perform 10-hour day shifts and work 4x10 schedule as indicated by the unit.
- Orientation availability: approximately 12 hours; floor-specific orientation length may vary based on prior experience.
- Active certifications and licenses required at start of assignment.
- COVID-19 vaccination required per client policy.
