Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pain Management Physician to join our growing healthcare team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive pain management services, improve patient quality of life, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary group of specialists. Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and physical examinations, to identify pain etiologies and develop individualized treatment plans.
Utilize advanced imaging modalities (e.g., CT, diagnostic radiology) to support accurate diagnosis and procedural planning.
Perform interventional pain procedures, including nerve blocks, epidural injections, and botulinum toxin treatments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatry, neurology, orthopedics, and other specialties to coordinate comprehensive care.
Manage acute and chronic pain cases across inpatient and outpatient settings, including post-operative and palliative care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems (e.g., Epic) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Stay current with advancements in pain medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical care.
Qualifications & Experience:
Board-eligible or board-certified MD/DO with experience in Pain Medicine or a related specialty (e.g., Anesthesiology, Neurology).
Experience performing interventional pain management procedures.
Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Epic.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques, including CT and diagnostic radiology.
Knowledge of pharmacologic pain management, including medication administration and psychopharmacology.
Prior inpatient or hospital-based experience managing complex or high-acuity cases preferred (e.g., Level I trauma center).
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
