Job Overview:

We are seeking a Pain Management Physician to join our growing healthcare team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive pain management services, improve patient quality of life, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary group of specialists. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and physical examinations, to identify pain etiologies and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize advanced imaging modalities (e.g., CT, diagnostic radiology) to support accurate diagnosis and procedural planning.

• Perform interventional pain procedures, including nerve blocks, epidural injections, and botulinum toxin treatments.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatry, neurology, orthopedics, and other specialties to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Manage acute and chronic pain cases across inpatient and outpatient settings, including post-operative and palliative care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems (e.g., Epic) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Stay current with advancements in pain medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Board-eligible or board-certified MD/DO with experience in Pain Medicine or a related specialty (e.g., Anesthesiology, Neurology).

• Experience performing interventional pain management procedures.

• Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Epic.

• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques, including CT and diagnostic radiology.

• Knowledge of pharmacologic pain management, including medication administration and psychopharmacology.

• Prior inpatient or hospital-based experience managing complex or high-acuity cases preferred (e.g., Level I trauma center).

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
