Full description
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Pain Management Physician (MD/DO) to join our Irvine team on a part-time basis, 3 days per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as our practice continues to expand. This role may also require occasional rotation to other practice locations to support patient volume, coverage needs, or scheduling overages, as needed. This position requires a minimum one-year contract commitment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality clinical care, communicate effectively with a diverse patient population, and contribute to a collaborative team culture. Spanish-speaking providers are highly preferred, as a large portion of our patient population is bilingual.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct new patient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up visits
-Develop individualized treatment plans using a multimodal approach
Perform interventional pain procedures (ESIs, RFAs, joint injections, TPIs, etc.)
-Make recommendations for imaging, physical therapy, and specialty referrals
-Document accurately and thoroughly in the EMR (Practice Fusion)
-Collaborate closely with MAs, scribes, and administrative team
-Participate in provider meetings and follow practice protocols
-Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and payer guidelines
-Provide education and clear communication to patients regarding diagnoses and treatment plans

Qualifications:
-MD or DO from an accredited medical school
-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology
-Active California medical license required
-DEA license required
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic
-Spanish proficiency is a significant plus
-Experience with interventional pain procedures preferred
