American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with at least two years of acute care experience and SLP certification for a day shift assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care setting on a dedicated speech pathology unit
- Typical schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Weekend shifts approximately once per month, either 8:00 am to noon or until 2:00 pm
- No floating or on-call requirements
- EPIC used for electronic charting
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, or feeding disorders
- Follow a dress code of grey pants and a navy shirt
- No first-time travelers accepted
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius; no local travelers permitted
- Former employees of any WVU Medicine location must have a 2-year break before reapplying
- Travelers cannot work within WVU for longer than one year without a subsequent 2-year break
- Active SLP certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- At least 2 years of experience as a practicing Speech Language Pathologist
- Acute care experience required
- License required if applicable
