Job Details:
• Work day/night rotation schedule
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• ASAP start date available
• Work in 18-bed unit with 4 PICU beds, 3 step-down beds, and 11 pediatric med/surg beds
• Care for pediatric patients across multiple acuity levels: med/surg floor level, level 2 (Q2h interventions, bi-pap), and level 3 (critical care)
• When PICU has no patients, provide care for pediatric floor level med/surg patients
• May float to ICN (Intensive Care Nursery) as needed
• Patient census fluctuates, so critical care experience may vary
• Handle diverse pediatric cases from routine medical/surgical to intensive care needs
