Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care to med-surg patients with a variety of common diagnoses, including pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and weakness due to falls. RNs will be responsible for monitoring and managing patients, titrating medications with some exceptions, and collaborating with a team that includes Charge Nurses, patient care techs, and respiratory therapists.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care with appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.
- Titrate medications and manage dosages, with specific categories outlined.
- Collaborate as part of a nursing team including Charge Nurses and CNAs.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, performing vitals and necessary tests.
- Assist in administering treatments and procedures as required.
- Must have at least one year of RN experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
- BLS certification and an active RN license are required.
- CNA certification or participation in a PCT class is preferable.
