Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/Recovery position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient surgery recovery (PACU) unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am with 12-hour shifts three times per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Must be willing to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the contract
• Returning perm staff may apply as travelers only after a 2-year break
• First-time travelers accepted
• All requested time off must be declared up front; additional RTO after offer will not be considered

Requirements

• Active GA or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU or recovery nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
