Job Summary (List Format):
- Requires travel nursing experience; ER experience also considered
- Position is in a 10-bed Emergency Room overflow/Observation Unit
- Patient ratio: typically 1:4-5; may go up to 1:7 with RN/LPN team
- Primary duties include frequent reassessment and rapid admission/discharge of patients
- Will float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed (typically once per week)
- Every other weekend shift required
- Will care for a variety of medical patients across multiple units
- Must work collaboratively with various staff (RNs, LPNs, Techs, etc.)
- Block scheduling not guaranteed or approved
- Michigan RN license and BLS (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
