Job Summary and Responsibilities Nephrology Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in the Tacoma Metro Area
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join an established Nephrology group. This full-time position provides patient care at greater Tacoma area dialysis units, including Davita, Fresenius, and Northwest Kidney Center.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical management of patients
- Patient education
- Follow-up care
- Interpretation of diagnostics
- Medication management
- Responding to patient questions on a variety of medical issues.

Compensation range of $128,750 - $164,300
Job Requirements- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Washington State ARNP license
- Candidates must have 1+ year of post training experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Nephrology related experience is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with EPIC a plus
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, dialysis unit staff, patients and their families
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism
- Strong commitment to patient care team concept and privacy guidelines
