Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Ortho Trauma position in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an orthopedics and trauma medical-surgical unit
- Hospital setting caring for orthopedic and trauma patients
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and trauma
- Must submit complete application and verifications including references and copies of certifications
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of one year recent experience in orthopedic or trauma Med/Surg nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required for consideration; Canadian SSNs not accepted
- Date of birth required for consideration
