Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and BLS and NBCOT certification for an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital on the Occupational Therapy unit
• Day shifts, 5x8 hour schedule from 8:00 to 17:00
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Epic charting system is used; Epic experience is preferred
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
• Applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
• Former permanent staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto approved and no RTO is permitted in the first week of orientation
• First-time travelers are eligible for this position

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• BLS and NBCOT certifications required
• Epic charting experience preferred
