The Mammography Technologist III provides screening and diagnostic mammography and breast sonography services for radiologist interpretation, including assisting with needle localization and biopsy procedures. This role requires radiation protection knowledge, relevant certifications, and the ability to operate mobile mammography units. Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
- Required Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiological Technologyprogram.
- Certifications: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Must be certified by the ARRT. R.T(M) + R.T. (BS) or RDMS (BR) or obtains certification in mammography. (Breast Ultrasound Certification)
- Other: Skills and Knowledge with Breast Biopsy and Needle Localization procedures
