Job Description:

The Surgical Tech IIProvides assistance and support to surgeons by preparing and providing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures in the Operating
Room. Works under the supervision of the surgeon. Facilitates a safe, effective and orderly operating room to maximize patient safety.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS required.
• Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment. Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique. Minimum of one years experience in a hospital operating room or outpatient operating room setting.
• One year experience in sterile processing environment, hospital or clinic (medical or veterinary) required.
