Job Description
As a Security Guard - Armed Perimeter Patrol in Naples, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual activity and report any concerns according to established protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
- Complete detailed reports and documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Adhere to all site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out assigned duties as an armed security professional.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Applicants must provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate's degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
