Locum Tenens Radiologist Opportunity - Diagnostic Imaging Excellence

A leading medical center in New Jersey is seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for an immediate and ongoing locum tenens assignment. This role offers a dynamic work environment alongside a collaborative team of Radiologists and support staff.

Positions Highlights:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Weekdays and weekends
  • Day shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Occasional weekend availability required
• On-Call: None
• Patient Volume: Approximately 440 studies daily; monthly average 13,200
• Team Structure: Work alongside 6-7 radiologists on weekdays and 2-3 on weekends

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Interpret a variety of imaging modalities, including:
  • CT
  • MRI
  • Ultrasound
  • Preliminary Reads
  • CT perfusion studies
• Perform upper GI procedures (approximately 10 per week)
• Nuclear medicine capabilities preferred but not mandatory

Support and Environment:

• Collaborative work with a team of radiologists
• Assistance from hospital-employed support staff and modality supervisor
• Advanced Practice Providers on staff (locum not responsible for supervision)
• EMR System: Epic

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• Eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• Proficient in interpreting CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies
• Expertise with upper GI procedures
• Nuclear Medicine experience is a plus
