A well-renowned healthcare organization in New York State is looking to add a licensed Physician, with an Internal Medicine background, to their Primary Care team at one of their outpatient facilities in Rockland County.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting: Outpatient
- Specialty: Primary Care
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Patient Population: Adults
- Patient Volume: 15 to 20 patients per day
Responsibilities:
The Primary Care Physician will:
- Coordinate and manage various aspects of their patients' medical needs
- Evaluate patients' symptoms, medical history, and perform physical examinations to diagnose illnesses accurately
- Advise patients on maintaining a healthy diet, exercising, getting vaccinations, and managing risk factors like smoking, alcohol consumption, and stress
- Manage chronic conditions, adjust treatment plans, and provide guidance on how to effectively manage these ongoing health issues
- Educate patients about their health conditions, medications, and treatment plans
- Perform regular health check-ups to monitor patients' overall health status
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for their patients
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:- License to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine
