What you can expect at your practice:
- Exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with our Trauma Surgery team at York Hospital
- Full-time position; Days - no nights/no call; with rotating weekend schedule
- Non-Surgical; Experience in trauma/critical care or wound care preferred
- Conduct thorough patient assessments during rounding to evaluate patient status and progress
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans based on patient assessments and team input
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatment plans
