Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider Inpatient Surgical OR Piedmont Henry Hospital
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Vascular Surgical service line team working at Piedmont Henry Hospital located in Stockbridge, GA. Shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week with varying call responsibilities. This position may also occasionally provide some inpatient cross coverage for other Cardiovascular service lines, such as Cardiology.

Piedmont Heart Institute provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services.
In this position you will:
- Perform OR first assist duties
- Round on patients in the hospital
- Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients
- Evaluate Cardiovascular patients in the office setting
- Apply specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in intensive care areas.
- Contribute to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
or
Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification and RNFA certification
Preferred Experience:
Previous Vascular Surgery with operative experience preferred. Will consider those with previous Cardiovascular experience and an operative interest.
