We are currently seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Washington. This is a great chance for an experienced physician to provide care in a community health center setting, with an emphasis on serving diverse populations. The position offers a stable work schedule and the possibility of extending the contract. Position Overview: Job Title: Family Practice Physician Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Near Ravensdale, WA Start Date: December 30, 2024 Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential for extension) Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (No Call) Patient Load: 18-21 patients per day Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population, including newborns through geriatrics. Perform basic procedures such as injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care. Work in an outpatient community health center, offering walk-in/acute care and chronic disease management. Collaborate with support staff, including medical assistants, receptionists, mental health therapists, and dietitians. Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system for patient charting. Requirements: Board Certification in Family Practice. Active Washington State Medical License. ACLS and BLS Certifications required. DEA Certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in family practice, with recent face-to-face patient contact. Ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on vulnerable populations. Ability to work independently, hitting the ground running after a brief orientation period. Spanish or Russian speaking skills are a plus but not required. Additional Details: Housing and travel arrangements will be covered, including flight, rental car/mileage, and lodging.
