A licensed physician with board certification in Emergency Medicine or related specialties is needed for a locum tenens role conducting medical evaluations for the Philadelphia Fire Department. The position involves performing 15-20 exams daily during weekday shifts from October to April with scheduled holidays off. The physician must have expertise in occupational medicine and fire service-related health issues, including toxicology, epidemiology, and critical care.
Looking for a Physician for a project at the Philly Fire Department October 4th April 8th. There will be time off for holidays. Requirements are below.15 -20 exams per day total between 8am 4pm. Monday Friday. This is split between 2 providers. The selected Applicant will provide a physician(s) that shall be a licensed doctor of medicine or osteopathy who has completed residency training in occupational medicine and/or is American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association board certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Ideally, the physician should be experienced in and knowledgeable about medical evaluations and care relevant to the fire service including the fields of occupational toxicology, industrial hygiene, epidemiology, infectious disease, 6 pulmonary medicine, cardiology, critical care, orthopedics, and/or emergency medicine. They will cover hotel and mileage.
