This position is for a Hematology/Oncology Physician providing locum tenens support primarily in outpatient settings, seeing an average of 16 patients per day with a focus on hematology and oncology cases. The role requires board certification, Basic Life Support certification, and licensure in Illinois or via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact. The physician will work three days a week with scheduled clinical hours plus call and utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system.

This facility is seeking a Hematology - Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call, 3 days a week preferred Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.8:15-4:45.
Practice Setting: inpatient, outpatient, Telehealth
Type of cases and required procedures: Primarily outpatient seeing approximately 16 patients
per day mix of new and established. Mix of hematology and oncology
Credentialing timeframe: 90-120
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
Certifications required: Board Certified and Basic Life Support
Licensure required: Illinois / Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
