The Opportunity:

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage in Northwest Ohio. Join a collegial care team at a high-volume, Level III Trauma Center with robust physician and APC support.

This assignment offers flexible scheduling, streamlined credentialing, and the full support of our concierge team to ensure a seamless locum experience.

Facility Snapshot:

• Hospital Size: Regional Medical Center

• Annual ED Volume: ~38,000 visits

• ED Beds: 25

• Trauma Designation: Level III Trauma Center

• Patients per Hour: ~2.1 PPH

• Coverage: 36–40 MD Hours / 28 APC Hours per Day

• EMR: Cerner

Shift Times:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

• 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

• 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Thursday–Saturday Focus: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a

Shift Variation: Monthly schedule adjusts based on department needs

Clinical Scope:

• Full-spectrum Emergency Medicine coverage including trauma care

• Work in a fast-paced environment with high acuity cases and diverse patient population

• Collaborate with Hospitalists for admissions; physicians responsible for admitting orders

• Supportive team environment

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certification/Eligibility:

• ABEM/AOBEM (Preferred)

• ABFM, ABIM, ABFP accepted with proof of 2,000+ EM hours

• Licensure: Active Ohio Medical License & Unrestricted DEA

• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (BLS required for FM/IM boards)

• Experience: Recent ED experience in comparable-volume settings
