This position is for a general/body imaging radiologist based in Ohio, requiring expertise in reading all imaging types with a mandatory focus on mammography. The role involves covering multiple hospitals and an imaging center, performing various interventional procedures, and being part of a democratic, long-established group with strong hospital and community ties. PRACTICE (YRS): We are looking to hire 1 general/body imaging rad for 2019 and 2 new rads for 2020. New grads may apply. Seeking rads that read everything, but mammography is a must!
PRACTICE STRUCTURE: Group Employed. One year Partnership track with first year starting salary of $325,000.
PRACTICE DATA: The daily volume range expected each radiologist to read is 90-110 per day; Cover a small hospital that is located about 20 minutes away and another hospital located about 30 minutes away from main hospital. The main hospital also has an imaging center they staff. Also, new business in 2019 - 35 minutes from main hospital and replacing a retiring radiologist.
PROCEDURES: PICC lines, temporary dialysis cath, abscess drainage, thora, para, CT, fluoro and US guided needle bx, joint injections, lumbar puncture.
GROUP: The group is very democratic and equalizes everything. We have been here since 1946.
We have a great relationship with our hospital administrations and medical staffs. We are a group of 13 Rads and participate on hospital committees, hospital fund raisers and community events.
COMMUNITY: Our practice is located in Ohio between Cleveland and Toledo on the shores of Lake Erie plus the roller coaster capital of Sandusky Ohio is 30-40 minutes away. The community is a relatively cheap place to live. Sales and property taxes are much cheaper than a neighboring county where Cleveland is located.
EXCELLENT BENEFITS PACKAGE: Group pays for Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx and pays the deductible, no co-pays so essentially 100% paid. Additionally have a HRA. Business Expense Account includes CME $10,000 to start, use or get paid out; business auto $6,000 to start, if don t need take the money in paycheck includes gas card, registration, insurance and oil change paid by group. Society dues paid by group (ACR, Ohio and local Medical Society), lunches paid for at hospitals/facilities, Malpractice paid by group, 401K and Cash Balance Plans with employer contribution, disability insurance, telecommunication reimbursement.
